Every woman should have a gynaecologist like Dr Vellayan. Approachable and diligent with a good amount of common sense...

Dr Vellayan and her team were amazing. I was so stressed and worried about my potential diagnosis. Dr Vellayan’s PA chased up my results the day after my scan and she emailed me from abroad...going above and beyond what is expected from a busy medical professional. I am so grateful for the empathy shown to me at a very worrying time and I have the utmost trust in Dr Vellayan and her team in looking after my health in the months and years to come.

From the very first meeting with Dr Vellayan she was very understanding and took time to listen to the problems I had. There was no feeling of being rushed and she took time to explain the options available and the implications. The subsequent meetings for the procedure and follow up appointments were the same. Post the surgery, I had a question which I emailed to Dr Vellayan who responded very quickly putting my mind at rest. I would have no qualms about recommended Dr Vellayan to any friends or family as I found her very knowledgeable, approachable and understanding.

Dr Vellayan has cared for me with several gynaecological complaints over the course of the last 9 years and I have found her on all occasions to be attentive and understanding. On each occasion she has made a plan of care and provided me with timescales for treatment, whilst ensuring that I am aware of how to contact her to discuss any concerns that I may have during this time.
